The Opportunity:
The Stats Crew is responsible for a number of roles during Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Hustle games, including but not limited to: accurately tracking and recording in-game statistics, keeping time for the shot clock and/or game clock, managing the scoreboard, and working with stats software and equipment.
In This Role You Will:
Accurately tracking and recording in-game statistics, active/inactive lists and starting lineups;
Collecting and recording pregame active/inactive lists and starting lineups
Checking and approving active lists and starting lineups for home and visiting teams;
Accurately keeping time for the shot clock and/or game clock;
Managing the official scoreboard;
Testing and knowledge of NGSS software (including potential training on NGSS software);
Other duties as assigned
The Experience You Will Bring:
Minimum of 1 year in pursuit of college degree with High School Diploma or equivalent;
Minimum 6 months experience working collegiate or higher electronic scoreboards, game clocks, shot clocks or inputting software;
Ability to work Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Hustle home games, including nights, weekends and holidays, in Memphis, TN at FedExForum and Southaven, MS at Landers Center.
Professional and personable demeanor and approach;
Strong organizational skills;
Ability to multi-task effectively;
Ability to take constructive criticism;
Knowledge of the NBA and NBA G League rules;
Must complete NGSS training (for stats inputters and STC);
Reliable transportation.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge and passion for the sports and entertainment industry.
