ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB’s Atlanta, GA office is looking for a talented transportation designer to join our team.
Responsibilities
Work within a team of professionals in developing transportation design and solutions for a multitude of transportation and highway-related projects
Highway design
Drainage design
Traffic control development
Preliminary and final design plans
Contract documents, including specifications
Engineer’s construction cost estimates
Skills and Attributes
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comfortable working independently as well as on a team
Detail oriented, self-motivated, and committed
Strong computer skills
Critical thinking and problem solving
Qualifications
BS in Civil Engineering
0-1 years of professional transportation engineering experience
EIT preferred
MicroStation, AutoCAD / Civil3D, InRoads, HyrdroCAD experience a plus
Hiring Salary Range - $65,000 - $70,000. However, the final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
