Overview:
Our Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is looking for an Aviation Planner with 1+ years of experience to join our Aviation team. This is not a remote position.
The Aviation Planning Team primarily works on Statewide Aviation System Plans, Economic Impact Studies at the state and local level, land use studies, and more.
Responsibilities:
Participate in planning activities, such as survey development and data collection, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and synthesis, document development and technical writing
Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions
Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
Coordinate internally with other team members, including project accountants, graphic designers, and more
Prepare planning and land use studies
Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies
Gain exposure to diverse project experiences as we provide services to both the public and private sectors

Qualifications:
1+ years of experience as a Planner:
City and Regional Planning
Urban Planning
Transportation Planning
Or Other Related Major
An Aviation Management, Planning, or related degree from an accredited program
Working knowledge of the airport environment preferred
