Department: Respiratory Therapy

Location: Portland, OR

Hours: Full-time (1.0 FTE)

Schedule: 4 10 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

Job Summary

Shriners Hospitals for Children (SHC) – Portland has a great opportunity for a Respiratory Therapy Manager to join our team!  The Respiratory Therapy Manager plans, develops, and directs the scope and emphasis of the Respiratory Therapy Department.  This individual organizes, directs and assists in the delivery of medically prescribed Respiratory Therapy Care to inpatients to facilitate the rehabilitation of children with orthopedic conditions in conjunction with the standards of practice of the National Board of Respiratory Care and Shriners Hospitals for Children’s policies and treatment procedures.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required

Respiratory Therapy license in the State of Oregon required

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required

3 years of clinical Respiratory Therapy experience

1 year of management/supervisory experience

Experience in a pediatric setting preferred
