Position Responsibilities:
A Transportation Specialist supports daily transportation operations including planning, scheduling manpower, equipment and all clerical duties
As a Transportation Specialist, you will oversee driver activities including routing, check-ins, and the monitoring, compliance, and performance of driver hours of service
You will utilize software programs for route planning and conducting audits
You may assist with dispatching routes and professionally interact with customers to resolve any concerns
You will assist with Bun Backhauls
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with 0 to 1 plus years of related experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
