Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Intern to join the Wattstopper Team in Carlsbad, CA. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for supporting the marketing team in the creation of
various marketing materials to follow brand standards and be presented in a variety of visual communication media.
What Will You Do?
Collaborating with other team members to design a variety of print and digital collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers, technical sell sheets, email images, website assets, and social graphics.
Assist in preparing presentations and proposals.
Manipulate lifestyle and product photography.
Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of design elements.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
Currently a Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communication Arts, or related field.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Strong interest in graphic design and branding, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Knowledge of design tools and software - Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Understanding and applying color theory principles to create visually appealing designs.
General understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Strong design, communication, and organizational skills.
