Overview:

We are recruiting Board-Certified Psychiatrists to join Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital. Bronson Behavioral is a newly constructed behavioral health facility located in Battle Creek, MI. Bronson Behavioral is the region’s leading provider of acute mental health treatment for adults 18 and older. This state-of-the-art, 96-bed inpatient behavioral health facility provides a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients of all genders to find emotional stabilization and pursue healing. Our team of professionals utilize a comprehensive approach to develop a personalized treatment plan for each patient.

This Psychiatrist is eligible for Student Loan repayment program that is available via Bronson Health Group, the local nonpofit physician group.This is a full-time inpatient position with complete benefits including PTO, CME leave and allowance, paid liability, health, and life insurance. Great opportunity with our Joint Venture partner Bronson Health.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.

Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.

Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.

Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.

Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.

Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

Maintain conf

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.

One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.

Licensed in the the state in which the facility(s) operate.

Licenses/Certifications:

Board certification in psychiatry

Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
