Responsibilities:
NEW INCREASED RATES
We are hiring for the following positions:
Part Time 40 hours biweekly: Every Thurday & Friday and every other Monday 7A-330P; On Call & Vacation Rotation
Per Diem:Work a minimum of 4 shifts per month (8 or 10 hour shifts) in Nuclear Medicine at Phoenixville Hospital & PET Scan at the Limerick Outpatient Center, according to department needs.
Take a minimum of 1 weekend of on-call per month (Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm)
Take a minimum of 2 holidays of on-call per year (Christmas, New Year's, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving).
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information.
Demonstrates understanding of human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, nuclear physics, mathematics and pharmacology.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications to obtain diagnostic images and/or provides therapy as ordered by physician.
Ensures the delivery of quality care to pediatric through adult patients using professional and ethical judgment along with critical thinking in performing duties.
To maintain CNMTB/ARRT certification, Nuclear Medicine Technologists must complete appropriate continuing education requirements to sustain a level of expertise and awareness of changes and advances in practice.
