Quantity Surveyor
Excellent opportunity work for an excellent subcontractor specialising within the Construction and Civil Engineering sector.
Location: - Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: - £50,000 - £65,000 package
Role Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a subcontractor who operates across the construction and civil engineering sector with a focus of delivering a service to clients within bulk earthworks, infrastructure projects valued between £50k - £15m.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager, on a day-to-day basis to assist delivery these projects.
Day to day duties will vary but could include:
Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure their proposals will work
Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages of the construction
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks
Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour, and time
Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks
Value completed work, oversee bills, and arrange payments
Qualifications / Experience
Degree qualified - Ideally in Quantity Surveying
Full driving licence.
