Semi Senior Accountant
Due to continued expansion our client, a leading accountancy practice is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Semi Senior Accountant to complement their friendly team. This role can be full or part time and hybrid working (home/office)
Duties to include:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger
- Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
The successful candidate will possess experience within a Chartered Accountancy Practice and ideally you will be studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification. This dynamic practice is committed to ongoing support and development of its staff and encourages further study to gain future internal promotion. Optional study support is available with Block Release.
