This successful subcontractor specialise in highways, civil engineering, and groundworks delivering exceptional projects across London and Surrey. Working with reputable clients including TfL, Ringway, and Kier this company work across a variety of projects including rejuvenation and maintenance works. Now they are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who will play a crucial role in the business supporting Senior Quantity Surveyor and working closely with a small, close-knit team in a friendly and collaborative environment.

In this role you will be based from the Reigate office working on projects across London and Surrey and be responsible for working alongside and supporting a Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for cost management and project valuations, preparing and managing contract documents, including NEC contracts. You will also perform site measurements, valuations, liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. There will be occasional site visits in and around London and Surrey.

This role is therefore suited to a Quantity Surveyor with 1-2 years' experience and NEC knowledge who is professional, presentable and personable. You must be commutable to the Reigate office.

1-2 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within civil engineering, highways, or groundworks
