Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a long term freelance basis. This is for a position in the North West. Candidates will be expected to be on site 2-3 days a week and have the option to work from home on the other days. Prior experience working in the Gas sector is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Negotiate terms and conditions of subcontracts.
* Manage and process payments for specialist subcontracts and key suppliers.
* Ensure strict compliance with contract terms, conditions, rights, and obligations.
* Report monthly on the outturn Pain/Gain (if applicable).
* Coordinate changes or amendments in accordance with NEC 3/4 Option A & C contract.
* Analyse the impact of changes and assess liability exposure.
* Monitor and report on contract performance in terms of program, cost, and key events/issues.
* Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation.
* Generate Earned Value Analysis reports.
* Validate Subcontract Applications/Payments data
