An opportunity has arisen for a Continuous Improvement Co-Ordinator to join the Manufacturing Engineering department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.

About the role

To drive the Continuous Improvement culture, with Lean Six Sigma methodology, to instil a CI mindset across all functional teams.

What you will do:

Play a vital part in promoting a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business
Work collaboratively with the business Team to support the delivery of key CI Projects
Ensure that delivery of continuous improvement projects and activities maintain full compliance with health & safety and environmental, risk assessments, procedures, and good practice.
Responsible for the deployment of improvement projects and action plans
reporting regularly on progress to identify any opportunities, challenges, trends
Plan and deploy training to support the business goals and objectives in lean manufacturing and to develop the depth of lean skills for the tool champions
You will utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste while driving safety, customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
To explore new opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and ensure customer service
Support delivery of measurable improvements in Health and Safety, OEE, wastage and quality with the Factory manufacturing teams.
About you:

Extensive knowledge of quality improvement methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma
Previous experience working in Manufacturing / Production or similar environment is essential
Previous CI knowledge and recognised certification is preferred for this post, along with a commitment towards continuous improvement in the workplace
Outstanding analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail
Exceptional analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills
Tactful communication written and verbal; need to have the ability to create value propositions, develop presentations, and present to executive levels
