Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: North Lincolnshire
Salary: £38,000
Shifts: Monday to Friday rotating 4am to 12 o clock and 2pm to 10pm
Role Purpose
Provide efficient engineering services to all plant buildings and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime. Excellent salary, working conditions and overtime regularly available
Key Accountabilities
Health & Safety
Follow company safety policies.
Operate safely, minimising risks.
Report safety feedback and incidents.
Complete pre-start safety checks.
Food Safety Culture
Everyone Contributes: Participate in meetings and training.
Everyone's Accountable: Adhere to job descriptions and site standards.
Knowing and Acting: Follow SOPs and role-specific training.
Continual Improvement: Engage in audits and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance on process and packaging equipment.
Manage and record food safety risks.
Troubleshoot breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Support production efficiency.
Maintain documentation (Pirana).
Participate in machinery and systems projects.
Identify and manage spares requirements.
Operate safely and flexibly to meet business needs.
Drive a lean, effective PPM system.
Maintain technical records and equipment reliability data.
Deliver a best-in-class workshop using 5S techniques.
