Job Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified Senior AC Engineer to join our team, working across a range of prestigious theatres in the Shaftsbury Avenue area, London. This is a static role, meaning no driving is required, with all sites within walking distance. The role is a balanced mix of hands-on service, maintenance, and installations, alongside administrative duties including assisting with surveys, quotations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance and fault finding on AC systems across multiple theatre sites.
* Carry out small installations, filter changes, and repairs as needed.
* Assist with site surveys and prepare quotes for upcoming work.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety and industry regulations.
* Monitor and manage Building Management Systems (BMS) as part of ongoing maintenance.
* Utilize excellent PC skills for reporting, documentation, and compliance tracking.
* Work independently, walking between theatre sites within Shaftsbury Avenue.
* Keep accurate records of completed work and compliance checks.
Requirements:
* Qualified AC Engineer with F-Gas certification and recognised air conditioning qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds).
* Several years of experience in service, maintenance, fault finding, and small installations of AC systems.
* Strong understanding of BMS (Building Management Systems) and compliance requirements.
* Proficient in PC skills, including basic IT tasks for documentation and reporting.
* Ability to assist with surveys, prepare quotes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Physically fit and able to walk between multiple sites.
* Ability to pass security checks required for theatre locations.
