Kelly Parrish Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively with our Basildon based client to find them an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is predominantly office based but with the requirement to assist in the warehouse when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role along with excellent customer service skills and a flexible and adaptable approach.
Duties for the Warehouse Administrator role include: -
* Overseeing the daily operational customer needs from orders and receipts to picks.
* Managing and updating the Standard Operating Procedures where required.
* Running storage reports for units picked and pallet utilisation.
* Improving KPI’s by implementing pick strategies and stock adjustments.
* Ensuring replenishment of stock is completed to prevent any unavailable items.
* Proactively liaising with customers regarding returns, stock requirements and operational concerns whilst troubleshooting any issues as they arise.
* Meeting targets with couriers, transport team and customers.
* Arranging shipments with the transport team based on customer requirements.
* Accurately invoicing and accruing costs on all orders and receipts raised.
* Working closely with the warehouse team on all orders, picks and container arrivals.
* Assisting in all warehouse roles, including order picking.
* Maintaining a safe working environment by applying a ‘Safety First’ approach to working.
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles, checking against notes to ensure accuracy of receipt or dispatch of goods.
* Raising any concerns or issues with the Warehouse Manager as soon as they are noted.
* Booking in of all incoming stock and storing in a safe manner. Ensuring these are put in the correct locations.
Requirements for the Warehouse Administrator role:-
* Proactive approach with excellent customer service skills and the ability to converse with clients, suppliers, agents and colleagues in a professional and clear manner.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Committed and able to deal with challenging scenarios.
* Flexibility and being supportive in the workplace.
* Ability to organise your workload and workspace whilst being diligent and accurate.
* Good numerical skills and the willingness to muck in and help out where required.

The working hours for this role are 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
