Are you an experienced Auto Electrician with a background in building and fitting electrical systems to a variety of commercial vehicles? TVS Interfleet are one of the UK's leading suppliers of commercial vehicle conversions to the UK market, and the home of several well known brands in the sector. With an increase in work through our Fleet division, we are looking to bring in temporary and permanent employees to support the production plan.

By unifying the UK’s foremost vehicle components business (SB Components), concrete mixer supplier (McPhee), the leading provider of blowers (Priden) and tipper experts (Wilcox), we make it simpler to manage our customer's fleet’s bodybuilding needs with one supplier.

Across the business, we take pride in our work. From our welders who autograph their tippers’ CE plates, to developing a tailored solution for OpenReach, we’re obsessed with every detail to bring businesses the best.

What is the role?

Based in Wisbech, your role will be to work alongside our production teams building and installing electrical systems from SOP’s and electrical drawings.

The main duties and responsibilities of an Auto Electrician are:

Your role will be varied and involve both basic and advanced electrical engineering tasks, such as stripping, crimping, wiring and programming of ancillary equipment and products used in the assembly of our range of CCTV, lighting, safety and auxiliary systems. You will work to strict SOP's and use electrical drawings to produce high quality and tested systems which are to the standards required for both internal, client and international

You will need to have the following experience:

* Experienced Auto Electrician

* Ability to work with both 12v/24v systems within the commercial vehicle bodybuilding industry

* A good understanding of the type approval guidelines

* Ability to manufacture wiring harness’ following schematics provided

* We offer a good salary with a stable workload. Voluntary Overtime at x1.5.
