About The Role
Excellent opportunity as a Maintenance Worker to help make sure that our residential building, furniture and equipment is kept in good condition principally through planned maintenance and day to day repairs, including cleaning, decoration and plumbing.

The Maintenance Worker will help ensure that all internal and external aspects of the scheme, including the fabric of the building, its furnishings and equipment are clean and well maintained to a high standard and will:
Detail and work with a planned maintenance programme
Identify and act on any repairs that are required
Ensure the completion of repairs and maintenance activity personally or via contractors
Collect and deliver items locally, including repair materials and furniture

About The Candidate
You will instinctively work in a manner that aligns fully with Salvation Army Homes delivery values and behaviours, demonstrating energy and passion, along with a positive, can do attitude in your daily contribution as a Maintenance Worker to transforming lives.
You will be confident and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people. We need you to be able to:
Have empathy with our client group
Successfully complete a variety of low level repair and maintenance activities both internally and externally
Safely use equipment that is supplied for repairs
Have good diagnostic skills
Manage a varied workload and show good time management skills
