Do you have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Education Personnel are looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to work with children who need additional support in their learning.
Education Personnel are working with a fantastic SEN School in Chelmsford, Essex who are looking for enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team;
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will;
* Provide one-on-one or group support for students with SEN, helping them engage with the curriculum.
* Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
* Work closely with class teachers and other members of staff to implement education plans.
* Encourage and promote students' social, emotional, and academic development.
* Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
* Provide feedback to teachers and parents on students’ progress.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN, such as autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work flexibly in different settings and adapt to varied needs.
* A calm and proactive approach to managing challenging behavior.
