Group Demand Planner - automotive aftermarket

Basic salary between £30,000 - £33,000 + bonus + benefits

Based in Kent with hybrid working

My client is an automotive parts manufacturer and due to extensive growth, they are looking to recruit a Demand Planner within their supply chain team based in Kent. It's a hybrid role with 2 days working from home, 3 in the office in Marden. If you're an experienced Demand Planner from any sector who is looking to grow and develop their career there is a lot of potential in the role to take on more responsibility in the near future.

The Role:

Manage and sustain availability within agreed KPI's to support customer sales
Continually improve communication between the different brand teams and the Supply Chain team to ensure market requirements are managed, disseminated and achievements or budget constraints are fed back to senior management.
Manage all relevant policies, forecasts and parameters within the inventory management systems to meet demand and sales targets.
Manage and develop the range and stock profile of the brands, in line within agreed stock turn KPI's.
Actively seek to understand all aspects of the supply chain and ordering process to continually improve and develop efficient processes for Subsidiaries and support with master data issues preventing orders.
Identify variances, trends and communicate route cause analysis and resolution for consideration by the Supply Chain Department and the brands.
Work with all necessary departments within the procurement plants to manage and develop the supply chain for the whole group.
To support the brands with any direct vendor relationships.The Person:

We're looking for someone with 2 years + experience in Demand Planning from any market.
You'll have confidence to communicate and deal with all levels within the business
Experience of analysing trends within a supply chain and proposing suggestions for improvement is essential
You'll have excellent organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
In addition, you'll need analytical skills and a Microsoft Excel experience to advanced level
The Package:

A basic salary between £30,000 and £33,000 is offered depending on experience
Hybrid working - 3 days in office / 2 days working from home
25 days holiday and 8 days bank holiday a year
