Job Title: Paint Sprayer

Location: Ashford
Hours: 45.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 17:00, Friday: 07:00 - 15:00)

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, plus substantial overtime and night allowance (optional)

Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join a high-performing team within a reputable body shop. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and masking surfaces.
Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired shade, ensuring an exact match with manufacturer or customer specifications.
Apply primers, base coats, and top coats using spray guns and other appropriate tools.
Perform final polishing and finishing touches to ensure a flawless surface.
Repair minor bodywork damages, such as dents, scratches, and chips, before spraying.
Use paint-drying ovens or infrared curing equipment to complete the drying process efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, keeping detailed records of materials used and tasks completed.
Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure workflow efficiency and timely completion of jobs.
Stay up-to-date with new painting techniques and industry best practices.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an automotive, body shop, or accident repair centre environment.
Strong knowledge of paint mixing techniques, color matching, and application processes.
Ability to work with a variety of paints, finishes, and spray tools.
Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a body shop setting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive refinishing would be an advantage.
Full UK driving license.What We Offer:
