JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Murex Finance/Accounting Business Analyst/Configurator to join our team. The ideal candidate will support ongoing changes and enhancements within the Finance and Accounting domain, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the optimization of accounting processes within Murex. This role requires in-depth expertise in Murex, accounting, and finance, as well as strong analytical and configuration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Murex for finance and accounting functionalities.
• Implement and support changes related to financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Optimize system performance and stability.
• Implement regulatory changes impacting finance and accounting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards through system configuration.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to meet evolving regulatory requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements from finance and accounting stakeholders.
• Translate these requirements into functional specifications for Murex.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in configuring Murex for finance and accounting functionalities
• Strong knowledge of Murex MxML workflows, data mapping, Scripting, and data model configuration.
• Proficiency in Java, Unix commands, and SQL for query development and debugging.
• Solid understanding of various asset classes (Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, etc.).
• Experience in financial reporting, General Ledger, subledgers, and accounting configurations.
• Familiar with global accounting standards (eg, IFRS, GAAP) and the ability to implement regulatory changes.
• Expertise in optimizing system performance and automating processes using MxML Exchange and Datamart.
