Your new role
This position is newly created within the Finance team as part of plans to in-house a previously external process.
You will be responsible for the development and improvement of the management, control and reporting within the finance department.
This includes completing annual accounts and external returns, as well as maintaining internal controls, policies and procedures.
You will be responsible for treasury management, fixed asset accounting and financial management as well as Risk and Compliance strategies.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous Public Sector Financial management and accounting experience
• Hold an ACCA or equivalent qualification (Finalists will be considered)
• Experience of year-end procedures working to strict guidelines for internal and external audits.
• Experience of monitoring capital expenditure
• Good knowledge of Financial Service regulations and ensuring compliance.
• Experience of managing the Fixed Asset Register
• Experience Managing Risk strategies.
