Business Development Manager
Here at Harvey Nash our client a growing technology solutions company is looking to recruit a Technology Business Development Manager to join their team in Glasgow.
The role will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities and developing a sales pipeline whilst providing an excellent level of customer service. You will also be responsible for consistently delivering against sales KPI's.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and build relationships with prospective clients through:
- Telephone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person cold calling.
- Networking
- Referrals
- Collaborate with pre-sales team to present our product and solutions to prospective clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of our clients' solutions to meet the clients IT requirements.
- Convert viable prospects into active clients, owning the full sales process from lead generation to negotiation and close.
- Continually build a relationship pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics.
This is a site based role in Glasgow, so we are looking to speak to candidates who can spend 5 days a week in the office and/or on client site. Our clients offices have plenty of parking and as this is a client facing role a full driving licence is necessary for this role.
I'm looking to speak with candidates who have strong direct sales background within the IT/Technology sector, managed services, KPI driven and excellent stakeholder management skills.
