Job Summary

The Document Prep Team Lead will be responsible for all aspects of Prep in the prep department. This role will be responsible for ensuring the completion of all prep jobs on time, while assuring quality and accuracy.

The Document Prep Team Lead must have a strong working knowledge of all account prep procedures and will be responsible for updating teammates to any changes to the various accounts, as well as training new teammates on various accounts.

In addition, this role will occasionally need to help in other areas including Indexing, Scanning, and any other position deemed necessary.

Role, Responsibilities, and Essential Functions include the following, but not limited to:

Initiate, setup, monitor, and QC all Prep production.

Training and monitoring of Prep, such as updating teammates to any account changes or new accounts, training new teammates, and ensuring correct prep procedures are followed.

Keeping an accurate log of work done through production tracking systems.

Understanding of proper prep for each account.

Tracking Prep jobs for completion and on time delivery.

Knowledge of how to use all Prep Equipment.

Work with Leads from other departments.

Oversee Prep teammates and delegate work accordingly.

Manage Prep supplies

Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

At least 1-2 years of leading experience, within Manufacturing leading experience is a plus

Effective Communication in written and oral fashion using English

Takes initiative, forward thinking

Minimum Qualifications

Able to lift, move, and carry up to 40 pounds.

Can work well with others.

Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.

Knowledge of Office Equipment (i.e., Copy Machines, Multiple Line Phone System, Staple Remover, Paper Cutters, Staple Removers)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The team member must occasionally lift or move up to 40 pounds.
