Main Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing all incoming calls and greeting visitors to the firm, ensuring an exceptional first impression of our company. The role demands a high degree of responsibility in upholding the firm’s professional image and ethos.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle all incoming telephone calls efficiently and promptly.

* Welcome and assist all clients and visitors with a positive, professional demeanor.

* Ensure the reception area reflects the firm’s high standards by maintaining its tidiness.

* Provide telephone support to partners and staff as needed, including logging calls and delivering messages accurately.

* Perform various administrative and clerical tasks as required.

Person Specification

Skills

* Strong analytical abilities

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting

* Competent in IT and office software

Knowledge

* Understanding of law firm operations

* Basic knowledge of business administration

* Familiarity with legal concepts and Civil Procedure Rules

* Awareness of GDPR and Equality Standards

Experience

* Previous experience in business administration

* Prior experience working in a legal environment is advantageous
