Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Saint Helens

Shifts: 6am-2pm OR 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday or 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday

Pay Rate: £11.50-£15.50 p/h (depending on roles and experience)

***Full time machine operator roles available with immediate start***

Pay Structure

- Machine Operator Mornings (Monday-Friday 6am-2pm): £11.50/hour (up to 37.5 hours); Weekdays Overtime £13/hour and Weekend Overtime £13.50/hour

- Production Operator Aftrernoon (Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm): £12.15/hour (up to 37.5 hours); Weekdays Overtime £13/hour and Weekend Overtime £13.50/hour

- Production Operator Nights (Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am): £13.50/hour (up to 37.5 hours); Weekdays Overtime £15/hour and Weekend Overtime £15.50/hour

Machine Operator Role & Responsibilities;

- Machinary setting/maintenance

- Machinary fault finding and escalating major breakdowns to the engineering team.

- Packing Hygiene products such as napkins, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, etc... to the required standards

- Quality checking

- Palletizing, wrapping finished goods

- Labelling

- Responsible for a part of production process

- Compliance with all policies and procedures

- Ensuring production is completed to the highest standards

The Successful Candidate;

The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and hard working. The candiate must be able to work independently and under pressure at a fast paced envioronment. This is a long term opportunity in a role offering great job security as part of a stable team. Previous production, factory, or machine operator experience is required for this role.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of napkins, toiled and kitchen rolls and are looking for candidates to work in their production and warehouse departments. This role will be ongoing and can lead to a permanent contract for the right candidates. The company offer a lot of pregressive positions and a fixed shift Monday to Friday/Sunday-Thursday.
