Description

As the Head of Procurement you will,

Oversee and manage the entire procurement operations, taking time to understand the current working, and knowledge, with a view to building in robust process, and system to support the growth
Review the current supply base, building on relationships, and understanding performance
Ensure the best quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products that will support a first class customer experience
Identify potential supply chain risks as the organisation grows, and devise mitigation strategies.
Lead and inspire the procurement team to raise performance and capability
Regularly review market trends (trade shows & supplier intel) to identify new procurement opportunities.

The successful candidate, Head of Procurement should have:

A robust understanding of procurement and supply chain management in the Manufacturing and a sales / distribution operating model
Proven track record in a senior management role, specifically in procurement.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on cost reduction and quality improvement.
Used to adapting a function and approach to suit a demanding, fast paced operating environment
