Job Title: Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor
Location: London

Part of a top 10 UK Contractor this business forms a leading M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) partner in the UK. They specialise in designing and installing building services and infrastructure solutions for commercial, defence and government clients. Producing M&E packages of up to £40m.
Role Overview: As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will specialise in high-profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across various sectors. You will lead project teams, overseeing a cluster of packages, and take full responsibility for developing and implementing pre- and post-contract strategies. Their focus is on commercial functions, contract reporting, and collaboration with customers and industry experts. You will strive for added value, compliance, and commercial viability while adhering to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and encourage project team performance, ensuring that SES main contractual obligations and/or strategies are executed and regularly reviewed
Actively engage with all internal and external stakeholders and ensure delivery of the commercial function within your assigned projects.
Producing internal and external commercial reports
Create detailed cost estimates and budgets for mechanical and electrical (M&E) works.
Conduct cost analysis and present reports to clients.
Manage tender processes and contract negotiations.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and validate quantities
