FINTEC recruit is seeking a Pipefitter / Welder for ongoing contracting work. This is based near Helensburgh. Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, overtime hours available.
Responsibilities:
* Utilize industry-standard materials to repair and replace pipe work.
* Document and report on Dimension Control, Traceability, and Quality standards.
* Plan and configure equipment and materials based on job requirements.
* Perform installations, inspections, diagnosis of problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair, and maintenance on various pipe systems.
* Engage in on-site tasks including fabrication, pipe bending, welding, and pipe fitting.
* Maintain manual handling and housekeeping standards.
* Identify and address hazards, issues, defects, and the need for replacement or adjustments to ensure adherence to codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Minimum of 5 years' essential experience as a Pipe Fitter.
* Have experience as a coded welder Tig/Stick welding
* Demonstrate familiarity with the tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in the trade.
* Exhibit knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Have SC clearance or able to pass SC clearance
Qualifications:
Apprenticeship for Copper Smith and/or Pipe Fabrication.
