, a leading provider of incident management software for the fire service industry, is seeking a passionate Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fire service, enthusiasm for Tablet Command’s products and the ability to secure meetings with potential buyers.
As a BDR at Tablet Command, your primary focus will be to secure quality meetings for our Sales representatives to pitch and close deals. By leveraging your extensive network within the fire industry and effectively communicating the value of our solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to potential customers in the fire service industry through calling, emailing, LinkedIn and other outreach methods
Leverage your extensive network within the fire industry, both in your state and nationally, to identify and engage with key decision-makers
Engage with prospects to understand their needs, introduce them to Tablet Command's cutting-edge solutions and qualify them as sales leads
Effectively communicate the value proposition of Tablet Command's products and services through brief sales presentations and demos to
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute strategic account plans, focusing on securing quality meetings for Sales executives to pitch and close deals
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the company's CRM system
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities
Requirements
Proven experience in the fire service industry, either as an active or retired member
Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of the fire service
Extensive network within the fire industry, both at the state and national levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and relationships with prospects
Comfort with cold calling and a genuine enjoyment of pitching Tablet Command's solutions
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G Suite, and CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management or a similar skill sets
Familiarity with Tablet Command's products and services
Compensation
For this position, the On-Target Earnings (OTE) is $100,000, which is divided equally between base salary and variable compensation. This means the base salary is $50,000, and the variable component is also $50,000. High performers have the potential to earn significantly more, with annual earnings exceeding $150,000.
