The Regional Manager of Operations will oversee all construction activities within a designated region, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve strategic planning, operational leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and growth.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with corporate goals and drive regional growth. Identify new market opportunities and lead initiatives to capture them.

Project Oversight: Monitor and manage all construction projects within the region, ensuring compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks.

Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site supervisors, and support staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for regional projects. Ensure projects are delivered within budget and financial targets are met.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies. Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with projects and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness and drive improvement initiatives.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on regional operations, project status, and financial performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in construction operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to travel within the region as needed.

OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.

In-depth knowledge of utility construction – HDD, aerial, and fiber pulling and splicing

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.

Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
