The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring () is seeking motivated and engaging SAT Math Tutors for assignments with students in the Montgomeryville, Lansdale, and Jenkintown communities.
Company: TPAPT Chapter, Philadelphia
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Compensation: $30/hr-$50/hr
Classification: Part-time Employee (W2)
Tutoring Location: Private Learning Center, 60 minute lessons
You would work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.
The ideal candidate is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and is committed to helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
Provide in-person coaching sessions to students in grades 9-12 classes.
Create lesson plans for individual students.
Administer assessments.
Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress.
Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree.
Access to a reliable car.
Established and demonstrable proficiency with SAT Mathematics or all sections of SAT.
Experience counseling, teaching, and/or tutoring students in grades 9 to 12.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
