Job Description

Lead a team of electrical design engineers in the full development process of embedded hardware, including requirements development, schematic design, component selection, layout completion, supplier selection, bring-up, system integration and test & approbation.

Support team by assisting in the development and execution of work schedules.

Lead team to work cross-functionally with embedded firmware teams.

Represent the portfolio in key architecture discussions and cross-site platform activities.

Work with senior technical staff in developing key architectures for the future of the portfolio.

Support cross-functional innovation plan in alignment with product roadmap.

Create ways of working that are transparent and accessible to all stakeholders.

Participate in operational roadmap planning for the portfolio.

Support lifecycle management activities including EOL, cost down, and field complaint investigations.

Create a culture of continuous improvement with regular retrospectives.

Support team in risk management and mitigation strategies.

Take active role in mentoring team members to higher enjoyment and performance in their current role

Create career path development for current team members by identifying, maintaining and growing the competencies of the team.
