Job Title: Development Engineer
Location: Burgess Hill, UK (3 days on-site)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £50k pa

iO is looking to recruit an experienced Development Engineer to work with a leader in mitigation and abatement worldwide, we are dedicated to reducing the adverse effects of semiconductor manufacturing on the environment and the natural world.
The Development Engineer will be working under the direction of a manager to plan, organize and deliver technology projects either alone or as part of team.

Requirements:

• A suitable engineering or science degree, master's or doctorate, or comparable experience.
• Applicable Prior experience (minimum years required to perform the job well, not years of experience overall)
• A minimum of five years' experience in the business or in research related to the development and manufacture of products.
• Practical understanding of technology and processes used in production.

Responsibilities:

• To apply suitable FMEA and reliability modelling methods.
• Searching for information from publications, books, patents, and both internal and external sources.
• Reports and accompanying materials outlining the advantages, disadvantages, and deployment boundaries of the suggested technology.
• Responsible for but not limited to demonstration of the proof of concept, thorough test results, technical details and descriptions, engineering models, sketches, and drawings
