Position Description :
Serco is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join the team! The Senior Cost Analyst will be a provide cost estimating and analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams as part of the Serco-WBB Consulting groups’s highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants.
The Senior Cost Analyst will be expected to support a wide variety of analytical projects including working for and with a variety of DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. The Analyst will interface with customers on a regular basis to develop project requirements, collaborate and work on integrated teams, and to brief, defend, and support project results. Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. Telework is an option!
The Senior Cost Analyst will develop cost estimates and models to support a wide range of end products to include, but not limited to:
Product Support Business Case Analysis (PSBCA)
Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
Life Cycle Cost Estimates
Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
Acquisition Milestone Support
Develop, present and defend cost estimates through various cost agencies (i.e. Air Force Cost Analysis Agency), in addition to project customers
Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers
Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among a variety of government and industry organizations
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience conducting cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis
Knowledge/Experience using various cost estimating software tools (i.e. ACEIT and Crystal Ball)
Active DoD SECRET security clearance
Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with customers and colleague
Up to 10% travel may be required
Additional desired experience and skills:
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability obtain one
Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research or related discipline
Air Force PBBE Experience
Business – Life Cycle Logistics, Acquisition Professional Development Program, Level 2
Certified Defense Financial Manager
Air Force Program Manager Level II
