Overview:

The Senior Director, Corporate FP&A will support the VP, Strategic Finance and the organization in leading the process for the preparation of the company budgets, forecasts / rolling reviews, and long-range plans. This role will collaborate with business finance members to develop latest estimates, with Investor Relations for forward-looking guidance, with Treasury on the cash burn forecasts, and program management on the integrated project plan and portfolio prioritization decisions. In addition, this role will identify and own the management of our next generation of planning systems, as well as prepare financial presentations for management and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the business finance community to drive forecast/rolling review, budget and strategic plan forecasting process, including evaluation of cross-functional input and presentation to the EC and Board of Directors.

Collaborate with program management and R&D finance leads to evaluate the program timelines, changes, prioritization, PTRS, and changes that may occur during the year.

Consolidate and analyze all financial information including actuals, budgets, projections, monthly/quarterly closes and manage ad-hoc requests.

Drive financial excellence and improvement of financial planning and analysis capabilities across the organization, including leveraging best practices, system implementation, and process enhancements.

Partner with the business and strategic sourcing lead to develop resource plans, analyze cost savings opportunities, develop project plans and monitor progress and results.

Competitive benchmarking using wall street reports, company updates, and industry analyses.

Support accounting for required analysis on a quarterly and / or annual basis, as well as SOX compliance.

Key contributor for global projects, including business cases, acquisition reviews and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance and / or Accounting.

Approximately 10 - 15 years of experience in Corporate Finance and / or FP&A with preference for pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Knowledge of specialty pharmaceuticals, GAAP, and US market highly preferred.

Highly proficient in excel, powerpoint, modeling and skilled in use of Oracle & Hyperion Planning.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.

Ability to work well on cross-functional team.

Ability to work independently, multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.

Must successfully exhibit Insmed’s core corporate competencies and willingness to roll-up sleeves.

$207,000 - $289,867 a year
