Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)

Responsible for performing advanced level repairs on all electrical and mechanical slot machines, along with system communication components. Demonstrates superior technical skills in regard to problem solving, troubleshooting and repairing slot machines. Delivers superior customer service with attention to detail. Highly adaptable individual able to oversee projects from beginning to end. Sets an example for other Technicians to follow while also promoting the company’s goals and values.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

Repair and maintain slot related equipment on the casino floor.

Repair and maintain slot related equipment in the slot shop.

Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment.

Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state and or internal regulations.

Ensures an enjoyable gaming experience of guests to Maryland with maintaining the gaming equipment at the top level of proper operation.

Any and interaction with guests is friendly, cooperative and professional.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities) 

Ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization and manage multiple projects.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).

Time management and project management skills.

General knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations pertaining to Slot Operations. 

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, possesses integrity, confidentiality, and discretion in handling confidential information.

Ability to read and analyze documents.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical tools

Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise.

Educational Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years previous experience as a slot technician or related field.

Must be able to acquire and maintain the required license as determined for the position by the Pennsylvania State Gaming Control Board. 

Physical Requirements

Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.

Keyboarding 25%

Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators.

Working Conditions

24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft. of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.

Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.

You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
