We are seeking an Entry Level Enviromental Engineer within our Private Sector Group (Industrial) to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm.

Responsibilities:

Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure

Work on engineering planning and design projects

Prepare reports

Develop plans and specifications

Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects

System modeling

Permitting and alternative analysis

Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables

Data entry and analysis

Provide engineering services during construction

Participate in field activities such as pilot testing

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering 

Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design

0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering

Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work well in a team environment

Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
