Responsibilities:
Scale production with an emphasis on reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
Leverage traditional best practices, such as ITSM, as well as emerging methods, that are optimized for agility.
Generate documentation for the full software stack.
Perform and validate software updates.
Execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
Provide software product ownership for common third-party tools.
Qualifications:
Experience with automated configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.
Experience with IT Infrastructures, CI/CD, Automation, and/or systems engineering.
Basic Linux system administration experience and shell scripting.
Working knowledge of CM tools such as Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.
Experience with creating and automating installation/configuration procedures.
Experience with Scrum/Kanban, Agile workflow methodologies.
Up to date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.
Experience in working with ESXi, AWS, Python, RPM packaging, and/or Jenkins is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
