Virginia Oncology Associates, the largest group of medical professionals in Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina devoted exclusively to cancer care and blood disorders, has an exciting opportunity for a Research Data Coordinator to support our Cellular Therapy program, located in Norfolk.

Responsibilities:
Keeps current all applicable patient reporting and tracking functions
Extrapolates data, completes case report forms, and ensures timely data submission in accordance with SOPs
Actively prepares for and participates in monitoring and auditing activities.
May assist with screening patients for potential study enrollment
Assists with patient scheduling for procedures required to maintain protocol compliance
Assists with coordinating patient follow-up visits and timely data submission
Maintains research records in a confidential manner according to all applicable regulations
Orders and maintains research supplies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical office experience required: At least 3 years of medical office experience preferred, preferably in oncology
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Minimum of one year experience as a data coordinator strongly preferred
SoCRA or ACRP certification preferred
