Overview:

Property Insight is seeking an experienced and highly-skilled chief technology officer (CTO) to join our innovative team, with primary responsibility for the execution of the company’s technology strategy, including the evaluation, development and implementation of new systems and capabilities. The successful candidate must be an expert in technological development, and have strong skillsets as a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and operational and technological implementation management. This position will work directly with the executive management team and act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company.

Duties:

• Responsible for setting and executing the technical strategy that aligns to and delivers against prioritized business objectives as defined by the executive management team.

• Develop, implement and monitor day-to-day technology services, functions and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress and obstacles of key initiatives.

• Record of improving team performance through analysis, requirements compilation, issue resolution, and solution implementation.

• Oversee maintenance of technology assets including the identification of vulnerabilities, the need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement.

• Stay up to date on current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development, including security best practices relative to software development and IT infrastructure.

• Establish software development process in support of related objectives.

• Align the company’s technology resources with the organization’s short- and long-term goals.

• Present reports on the company’s technology status, goals and or progress.

• Create and oversee high-level KPIs for IT department.

• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training and mentoring of IT managers and staff.

• Manage the department’s budget.

• Ensuring compliance with all requirements, laws, and regulations.

• Maintain and update (as needed) business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• CTO or similar IT leadership role: 5 years (Required)

• Technology management: 15 years (Preferred)

• Development team leadership: 10 years (Required)

Additional Information:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CTO or similar IT leadership role.

• Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated accomplishment with technology.

• Significant experience in all phases of the development lifecycle.

• Working knowledge of current security protocols and threats.

• Exceptional team management skills.

• Ability to delegate efficiently.

• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in Title Insurance, Real Estate or Mortgage Banking is a plus.
