Job Overview:
We currently have an opening for a full-time Pediatric RN, Inpatient to join our Portland, OR team. The registered professional nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
Schedule: Full-time, nights (in-person)
Holidays: 9 observed holidays per year
Compensation range: The hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis: Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis/issues
Outcomes Identification and Planning: Identifies expected outcomes and develops a plan that prescribes strategies which address health promotion and restoration, health maintenance, or health related problems or issues and alternatives to attain expected outcomes
Implementation and Coordination of Care Delivery: Implements the identified plan and coordinates care delivery
Health Teaching and Health Promotion: Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment
Evidence-based Practice and Research: Integrates evidence and research findings into practice

Qualifications:
Required
RN license in Oregon
Basic Life Support by start date (BLS, through American Heart Association only)
PEAR, PALS, ACLS: Obtain within 1 year of employment as required by hospital

Preferred
Bachelor in Nursing (BSN)
2 years experience in Acute Care Nursing
