Position Summary:
Acuren is currently seeking Rope Access Technicians to support our operation in Corpus Christi, TX.
We are seeking local candiates to promote and train within. The sucessfull candidates must be local to Corpus Christi, TX or surrounding area. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.
Rope Access Technicians are responsible for carrying out duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
Be conversant with relevant work techniques
Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of Level I
Assist other technicians as required
Ensure operational safety of all equipment
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
IRATA or SPRAT Level I, II, or III Certification or willingness to obtain
Valid drivers’ license preferred
Required certification levels for specific projects
Willingness to learn and improve
Team orientation
Ability to work productively in adverse conditions
