We're looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our PharmScript team within our Quality Assurance department. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you are primarily responsible for researching and documenting reported Quality-Related Events (QREs).
The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Researching reported QREs and documenting the events in the QRE Tracker application.
Identify and aggregate trending QRE data.
Communicate trending QRE data to the appropriate pharmacy managers and supervisors.
Participate in various Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) workgroups.
Assist with reviewing and preparing monthly Antibiotic Stewardship data
Other duties set by management.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
High school degree or GED is required
Three years experience as a pharmacy technician required
Pharmacy Technician Certification in Good Standing required
Prior audit experience preferred
Familiar with narcotics filling, data entry, customer service, and Healthex procedure
Familiar with 21 CFR, DEA compliance and regulations for narcotics
