Overview:
Bowhead is seeks a Military Operations Analyst to support JFCC IMD at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate across-CCMD/Service/Agency
• Conduct planning / adaptive planning staff processes and apply them to missile defense
• Develop asset management plans
• Track Research, Development, Test & Evaluation elements
• Conduct daily maintenance scheduling conferences
• Track and notify leadership about partially mission capable/fully mission capable (PMC/FMC) decisions
• Schedule meetings to support the Global Force Management process
• Develop policy, doctrine, and plans
• Support Tier I, II, and III exercises and real world operations
• Support training, standardization, and evaluation of Operations Center activities
• Assist in operational assessment of the MDA Integration and Synchronization Group and Program Change Board, Systems Engineering and Integration Committee (SEIC)
• Prepare and deliver detailed descriptions of system capabilities in white papers, briefings and presentations, including compiling and delivering senior-level decision briefings
• Attend and support conferences, meetings and briefings as required
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a High School education (or GED equivalent)
• Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience and/or operational experience in Military Operations and Asset Management
• Missile Warning / Missile Defense background is desired.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
