Unit Description:

Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opening for a Chef Manager to support the team at the American Express Centurion Lounge at LAX in Los Angeles, CA.  We are looking for a manager with prior culinary supervisory/management skills and hands-on food production experience to join our growing team.  Sodexo will be operating and managing this exclusive, luxury airport lounge.  The lounge will offer top--tier amenities and expanded premium food and beverage offerings to it's elite guests.  Position reports to the Executive Chef.  

The successful candidate will:

be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking;

supervision of large-scale batch cooking;

ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;

have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;

ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or

have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
