Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCorrespond with suppliers concerning price changes, contract adjustments, terminations, item values, and schedule changes

Work with higher level employees to develops timelines and conducts acquisition in compliance with procurement policy and contractual requirements

Support in Proposal/Estimating activity by issuing Request for Quotation(s), Quotation Evaluation, and Priced Bill of Material computation 

Support request for proposal activities for new or existing customer opportunities

Coordinate completion of annual supplier representations and certifications

Assist in conducting analysis of the quality and performance of goods, supplies, equipment, and/or services; and in performing cost/benefit, life cycle costing and/or commodity standardization studies

Participate in department improvement activities

Support expediting of purchase orders

Research contract history and related contract agreements

Assist in identifying supplier performance requirements by reviewing the performance capability of suppliers and evaluating goods and services, and sourcing vendors for assigned commodities

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business related studies or HS Diploma (or equivalent) with applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONThis position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Pay Range: $56,017.00 - $68,648.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
