Overview:
The Surveillance Shift Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the surveillance department according to gaming regulations and internal controls during assigned shift.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety and security of Employees and customers. Supervises programs and processes to reduce loss time injuries.
Monitor, casino games, bank, cage, slots, hard count, and soft count rooms and property overall.
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.
Development and training of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
Review departmental needs for input to the budget and effective management.
Review surveillance activities with the Director of Surveillance.
Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
Qualifications:
Two to five years experience in security or surveillance of a high volume business or industry with a 4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
Valid gaming license.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
