Overview:

NaphCare is hiring Licensed Vocational Nurses or Licensed Practical Nurses (LVNs or LPNs) just like you at the Imperial County Detention Center located in El Centro, CA . Full Time Night Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available! Pay rates range from $33.25 - $35.00 per hour based on Shift, FT, PT, PRN, temporary contract, site needs, and experience. Daily Pay for PRN shifts - choose when you get paid by making your earnings available before payday. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses:

Take and document all patient history and vital signs

Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical surgical procedures and examinations and/or treatments

Administer medications

Perform venipuncture and I.V. therapy

Collect samples, specimens and cultures

Transcribe therapeutic orders

Qualifications:

Qualifications for Licensed Practical Nurses:

Must be a graduate of an accredited program for practical or vocational nursing 

Hold and maintain a current, unrestricted nursing license in the California

A valid CPR card

with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
